Zion School Connection Issue #31- March 8, 2021

This Friday, March 12^th, is the end of our 3^rd quarter. Classes dismiss at 11:00 a.m.

Third Quarter Parent-Teacher Consultations     This year we have decided to invite our parents to meet to discuss their child’s 3^rd quarter report as well as share the results of our MAP standardized testing so far this year. These are not required meetings, but we encourage our school families to make the most of this opportunity. Appointments will be available March 16-18. Zion CEA Meeting     There is a meeting of the Zion Christian Education Association today, Monday, March 8^th, at 3:10 p.m. in the gymnasium. On the agenda are the upcoming CEA Auction and our school musical.

 

Chapel Service     School families are invited to join us for our morning school chapel service this week Wednesday, March 10^th at 8:05 a .m. Parents, family and friends are welcome! Parents attending chapel are asked to park in the circle drive (Cole Road entrance) and enter through door “D”.

 

Are you interested in finding out more about God’s Word?     Pastor Ulrich has just started up a new Bible Information Class (BIC) on February 21^st. This is a great class for those interested in learning more about the Christian faith as well as for longtime Christians looking for a refresher course on the basic teachings of God’s Word. Please contact Pastor Ulrich for more information.

Basketball     Basketball practices are continuing this week with some restrictions. Masks are required during practices.

Saturday, March 12^th HOME vs Divine Grace 11 a.m. and noon – No open admission

Attendance for spectators is extremely limited. Mr. Nielsen has shared details with the player families. Please contact Mr. Nielsen if you have any questions.
